I’m Not Dead, But I’m Working On It

Hi folks, short message here.

I’m not dead, but I have been working myself nearly to death for the startup company my wife and I started last year, Jade Ghost. I don’t think it would be so bad if it weren’t for the fact that I still have a day job that requires 45+ hours a week, and my wife and I currently have a pretty even division of labor.

Thus, the more clients we obtain, the less time I have… which is why my frequency of posts has dropped nearly to zero.  It is sad, in a way, because I was excited to work on a big post celebrating my 50th post, “I have a plastic addiction”, and talk about the future of the site, but I simply haven’t had the time.

I have been jotting down ideas for new articles, but when I have more time, these won’t be my top priority. Exercise and a regular sleep schedule will be the first things to re-implement. In any event, I just wanted to let folks know that the shadow will continue to spread… it’s just moving so slowly at the moment that progress is not discernible to the naked eye.

I will be murdering PCs in the latest season of Lair Assault: Talon of Umberlee, but I doubt I will be able to write as many articles as last time. I will, however, be dressing up like a pirate when I send players to davy jone’s locker…

I hope you’re all doing well, and that you have wonderful holidays with family and friends. With any luck, the new year will bring a fresh start to life here at Heroes of Shadow.
